The Masters Australian Football (MAF) League started in 1980. MAF WA is the body that represents the veterans’ football in Western Australia. MAF WA is affiliated to both the WA Football Commission and the AFL.
If you love your footy but are getting too old to keep up with the young blokes, then this is the game for you. Superules, now called Masters Australian Football, is Australian Rules Football for those players over 35 years of age who enjoy their footy and want to keep playing in a friendly and semi-competitive environment. MAF WA caters for all players with some still playing as old at 73!
See (About Us) for more details about our game, the age divisions and the philosophy of Masters Football.
The following age divisions are represented at most clubs:
Supers : 34 and over Masters : 40 and over
Seniors : 45 and over Super Seniors : 50 and over
WHAT'S HAPPENING?
National Carnival 2008 Photos
Here are some great action photos along with social events, Hall of Fame presentations, presentations to coaches and captains at the final Presentation Night and also many great individual shots in the following categories. The slide show to music that was displayed at the Presentation Night was outstanding and captured the flavor of the carnival. All of these photos and images are available through our carnival photographer Mills Photography.
Are you interested in representing your Country against the Irish? The Wombats are coached by Paul Hudson and play the hybrid game similar to the AFL/Irish game.
This is a once in a life time opportunity. See the attached PDF (17KB)
